Which slot should you choose?

  • 10:00 → 15:00: best with young children, who are usually tired by mid-afternoon.
  • 13:00 → 18:30: best for teenagers and adults who want to stay until the end of the afternoon, when the sun is less strong.
  • 10:00 → 18:30: the longest day, for big slide fans.

When is a water park day a good idea?

Andamanda works all year, so it is one of the best plans for a rainy or very hot day, or for a rest day between two boat trips. In the rainy season (May to October), we recommend sheltered or land-based activities such as James Bond Island, land tours, elephants, shows and the water park; see Phuket weather and boat trips.

You can also combine the water park and an evening show on the same day: come back at 15:00, rest, then leave for Kamala, where the shows open from about 17:30. At the time of writing (2026), Carnival Magic opens on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and Phuket FantaSea on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Both finish late, around 22:00.
